Our Story
About Dubai Desert Safari Tours
Dubai Desert Safari Tours runs out of a small office on Al Barsha Road, but almost none of what we do actually happens there. Every buggy, quad, Land Cruiser and dirt bike we operate is parked out at Al Awir, on the red dunes roughly 35 to 45 minutes from Downtown Dubai, and that stretch of sand is where your day with us really starts.
We built the business around six ways to see that desert: self-drive dune buggies and quad bikes for guests who want to be behind the wheel, Land Cruiser safaris with a Bedouin-style camp for guests who'd rather sit back and let a driver handle the dunes, sunrise hot air balloon flights over the same red terrain, guided KTM dirt bike sessions, and gentle handler-led camel rides for families and first-timers. Not everyone who books us wants the same morning or evening, so we kept the fleet wide instead of picking one ride and doing only that.
Every booking still runs through one WhatsApp number and one small team, and that's deliberate. We'd rather answer your questions ourselves than route you through a call centre — message us a date and a headcount, and someone who actually knows Al Awir will confirm your slot.

Behind Every Ride
Guides Who Know The Sand
Every guide and driver on our team has spent real hours on Al Awir's dunes before we hand them a group — buggies and quads run behind an experienced lead rider, and Land Cruiser dune bashing stays with drivers used to reading the sand at speed. A safety briefing happens before every single ride, not as a formality but because the first few minutes on the pedals or the wheel matter more than anything that follows. If a guide isn't confident a guest is ready for a faster stretch of dune, we slow the pace down rather than push through it.
