Overview
This is our entry-level balloon flight and the one most first-timers book: a 45-60 minute ride over the Dubai desert at sunrise, weather-dependent, with hotel pickup between 3:45 and 4:30 AM so you catch the launch while the air is still cool and calm. AED 1049 per person covers the flight itself, unlimited drinks in the basket, and a flight certificate you keep afterward. Drop-off back at your hotel, home or apartment runs 8:00-9:00 AM.
If you'd like a hot breakfast waiting for you on landing, our Deluxe Package adds that for AED 1149. And if you want the flight folded into a full desert day with a safari and quad bike session, the Premium Package covers all of it for AED 1399. Standard is the flight, pure and simple, for guests who just want the sky.

Safety & requirements
- Adults 12-80 and children 7-11 can fly; a pilot briefing covers takeoff and landing before anyone boards the basket
- Flights are weather-dependent and only launch in calm, clear conditions for a safe takeoff and landing
- Dress in layers — pre-dawn desert temperatures are cool even in summer, and the basket has no heating
- Closed shoes are recommended for the uneven ground at the launch and landing sites

What happens to my flight if the weather is bad?
Pilots need still air and clear skies to fly safely, so a windy or dusty morning means a same-week reschedule instead of a launch — never a lost booking. You'll hear about it well before your pickup time, usually the evening prior, so you can plan around it.
What should I wear for the Standard balloon flight?
Dress in layers for a cold desert morning rather than a hot afternoon — the pickup window is 3:45-4:30 AM and it stays cool until the sun is well up. Closed shoes handle the uneven launch site better than sandals, and skip loose scarves or hats since the basket sits close to the burner flame.
What's the minimum age for this hot air balloon flight?
Adults fly from 12 to 80 years old, and children between 7 and 11 can join as well. There's no steering or physical exertion involved — you stand in the basket and the pilot handles the flight — so the limits are mainly about height clearing the basket rim safely.
Do I need to book a desert safari separately, or is it included?
The Standard package is the balloon flight on its own — pickup, the flight, drinks and a certificate — with no safari attached. If you want the flight combined with a desert safari and quad bike session in one morning, our Hot Air Balloon Premium Package bundles both together.
How is the Standard package different from Deluxe and Premium?
Standard covers the flight itself at AED 1049 with pickup, drinks and a certificate. Deluxe adds a hot breakfast spread after landing for AED 1149. Premium, at AED 1399, folds the flight into a full desert day with a safari and quad bike session.
Can I fly during the summer months?
Balloon flights pause each summer while daytime heat and wind patterns make early-morning launches unreliable, typically June through August. Booking reopens from 1 September, so check with us on WhatsApp for exact summer availability if you're travelling in that window.
