The Hot Air Balloon Deluxe Package puts you in the basket for a 45-60 minute flight over the Al Awir desert dunes at sunrise, for AED 1149 per person with free hotel pickup between 3:45-4:30 AM included. Once you're back on solid ground, you're driven to a desert camp for a full gourmet breakfast buffet, a camel ride and a falconry display, before your flight certificate is handed over and you're dropped back at your hotel, home or apartment by around 9:30-10:00 AM.
This Deluxe tier sits between our entry-level Standard Package (AED 1049) and our top-tier Premium Package (AED 1399), adding the post-flight camel ride and falconry display to the classic flight-and-breakfast morning shared across all three.

Safety & requirements
- Adults fly as ages 12-80; children ages 7-11 join as "child" guests, weight and balance on the day permitting
- Flights are weather-dependent — your pilot only launches in calm, clear conditions and will postpone rather than risk an unsafe flight
- Dress in layers: desert mornings before sunrise are cold at ground level and cooler once airborne, even though the day warms up fast after landing
- A full safety briefing is given at the launch site before boarding, and the basket is crewed by a licensed hot air balloon pilot throughout
Balloon flights pause each summer (June–Aug) for the safety of guests and crew in the extreme heat. Book from 1 September onward for the new season.

What happens if my hot air balloon flight is cancelled for weather?
Ballooning depends on settled early-morning weather, and the pilot makes the go/no-go call on the day based on wind and visibility. If your flight can't launch safely, we move you to the next open date at no extra cost — no questions asked.
What should I wear for a hot air balloon flight in Dubai?
Dress in layers. Pickup is before sunrise when desert mornings are cold, and it stays cool once you're airborne, so bring a light jacket over a t-shirt, closed-toe shoes for the launch site, and something warmer you can peel off once the sun is up and breakfast starts.
What is the minimum age for the hot air balloon ride?
Children from age 7 can fly as "child" guests and adults 12 to 80 fly as "adult" guests, weight and balance on the day permitting. There isn't a strict upper age limit, but let us know in advance if anyone in your group has mobility concerns so we can plan the basket boarding.
Do I need to book a desert safari separately, or is it included?
The Deluxe Package is a stand-alone morning experience and doesn't include an evening desert safari. Since the balloon flight wraps up with drop-off by around 9:30-10:00 AM, many guests pair it with our Evening Desert Safari with BBQ Dinner + 30 Min ATV Quad Bike later the same day.
How is the Deluxe Package different from the Standard and Premium packages?
All three tiers share the same 45-60 minute flight and hotel pickup. The Deluxe Package adds a post-flight camel ride and falconry display to the breakfast, sitting above the Standard Package and below our Premium Package, which builds in extra touches for guests who want the most complete morning.
What time is pickup and drop-off for the hot air balloon flight?
Pickup is from your Dubai hotel, home or apartment between 3:45 and 4:30 AM, timed so you reach the launch site before sunrise. After the flight, breakfast, camel ride and falconry display, you're dropped back by around 9:30-10:00 AM.
